Meta Modern Era





Shri Mataji's second book, Meta Modern Era, was published in 1995. The improved version (in layout and paper quality) was published in India in 1996.

"Friends who spent time with Shri Mataji in Australia in 1995 told me while Shri Mataji stayed in a house on a beach in the north of Sydney for six weeks, She was writing Meta Modern Era. As Shri Mataji wrote, the transcript was being read and discussed, yogis and Sir CP made suggestions, changes were made and often the writing was softened, made less strong or less controversial. Some of the yogis who talked of the changes which were made during the writing of this book wished the unedited script was available for us to read. (CN, fb 4/22)

"About Meta Modern Era, I presented the French translation to the publisher “Publisud” who had previously published Gregoire’s Advent in French and my book. The publisher asked for some changes, namely two sentences as a condition for publication. I proposed a different wording in French which I translated in English and asked Shri Mataji for approval. Shri Mataji accepted and requested that the English be edited as well. RP implemented the modifications in the English version published by DCB." (GV, fb, 4/22)
